1. 研究目的与意义
本人对大学英语写作教学比较感兴趣,想研究不同的教学方法,通过与导师的探讨,准备把研究重点放在学术论文写作这种教学模式上,通过研究得出这种教学模式的优劣点比较结果,希望对大学英语写作教学有所启发。
2. 文献综述
In recentyears, there are many researches about academic writing in China, people startto pay attention to this writing mode and get to know some of the advantages ofacademic writing. Cai (2012) suggested that academic English can improvestudents language ability more effectively compared with pure languagelearning or exam-oriented college comprehensive English. It can also improvestudents academic research ability as well. If teachers guide and inspirestudents with their own research experience and ask students to do enoughpractices according to the format and rules of academic writing, studentsacademic research ability will improve a lot for certain(Zhu Yuan, 2003). It improves students logical thinking ability too,because logical thinking ability is the basic quality to work on scientificresearch and academic writing, it should be paid attention to in academicwriting education(Mao xi, 2011). Also it makes significant attempt to introduce theresearch results of tradition and culture of English academic writing at homeand abroad. It is beneficial for students graduation thesis(Liu Linling,2011).
AcademicEnglish writing is usually taught to English majors, someone may think it isnot suitable for other students, while it is not so difficult to teachnon-English students academic English writing in China. If teachers design thecourse and arrange class activities scientifically, students will accept andlike academic English course and gain from this course(Yang Feng, 2013). English literature agrees that academic writing is notvery difficult for students to learn. Parker(2011) take academic writing to beinherent in and analyzable from exemplary products such as journal articles. Shih(2007)suggests that deductive patterns may not be difficult for students to learn toemploy, especially in their English writing, and instruction can be effectivein this respect.
In conclusion,academic English writing has a lot of advantages and the attempt has certainfeasibility.
3. 设计方案和技术路线
实证研究,主要包括对照实验和调查问卷。
4. 工作计划
目前看了一些相关的文章,从别人的研究成果中获取灵感,也找到不足,为自己的研究做准备。
5. 难点与创新点
针对目前大学生英语写作教学存在的问题提出新的教学模式,并进行对比分析,找出它的优势与劣势,希望对传统的大学英语写作教学模式有所启发。
